BSM ~ Pollack

Jackson Pollack's painting style was the theme of last week's art playdate. A canvas was unrolled, paint poured, and then eight toddlers splattered paint....on the canvas, yes, but also on themselves and each other. They were actually not only allowed, but encouraged to throw paint.

My choice for BSM is this shot of Z. He had such a wonderful time colorfully painting and didn't even noticed he was being painted on, and being turned into a piece of art as well.

Nice persective on this! I think Z was a perfect canvas as well. What a fun time.

I still think it's crazy we had our BSM shots from the same event.

I think this is such an amazing idea, and I LOVE opportunities where kids are encouraged to get messy. (Particularly if I do not have to clean up after them.)

Llama Llama Red Pajama is such a favorite here, and the second book, Llama Llama Mad at Mama is pretty cute too. Kids like us to make fools out of ourselves as often as possible, too, so any book where you get to use voices and act out emotions? Big hit.

You should definitely FRAME this one as its own little piece of art. That is great!
