just a note about veggies

Mia and I just finished up with dinner. Daryl is working late.
This was a short bit of our dinner conversation:

Mia: 'I like vegetables'
Me: 'I like vegetables, too'

A minute later

Me: 'are you going to eat your carrots?'
Mia: 'no'
Me: 'I love carrots'
Mia: 'me, too, mama. I love carrots'

she ate them all up...except for two.

A few minutes later, Mia starts panting.
Mia: 'I'm a dog, mama'
Me: 'oh, what do dogs eat?
Mia: 'carrots'

then she proceeded to eat the final two.
