Mia helped me make some salt dough ornaments. She helped stir, roll the dough out, she pressed her cute little hand print in some, and picked out the cookie cutters we used...she favored the Christmas tree.
She really was a big help, and it was so sweet teaching her and then watching her use the rolling pin that I used as a child. While growing up, we always had so much fun while cooking and baking. We'd sing and dance the Charleston while waiting for yummy things to come out of the oven. My mom gave her rolling pin to me a few years back, and I just love using it with my own daughter.
